Overview
Those from the Sea Realms who head out seeking adventures are known for daring, for bravado, for confidence and perhaps a bit of pride, as they often think that will carry the through in the lands of the Empire, where people can be so incredibly dour and lacking in any sense of fun or playfulness.
Be they from Below or Above, though, those from Islandia or Keris do not speak much of their homes, for they are going with the flow, following the current, and swimming upstream is always much harder when it is far easier to see if the winds will take you back one day. They are an optimistic people, very energetic, kind, and caring towards others. They can be more stable, openly show their affection towards a loved one, they can still hold normal relations with others.
Those from the Sea Realms tend to be among the least materialistic of Adventurers, caring little for wealth or lands or fame, and generally have some vague idea that one day they will return with new tales and new ideas to their island nation.
Of particular importance is that those from the Sea Realms are always willing to give deference to the Seniors, the elders. They reserve this for the very old, but to them, there are few things worse than mistreating an elder.
