Overview
What you do is who you are. How you do it is your character. Why you do it is your honor.
The most etiquette bound of all the peoples, Qivirans are a firm people, most devoted to their place and their role and they know it early and they strive to meet the expectations of others, even at personal cost or when sacrifice is called for. They are also considered among the most bloodthirsty of all the peoples. Qivirans have no concern about violence. To them, it is a part of that growth, and a good death is just as important as a good life.
They are unimpressed by those who seek to rise above their station, considering them uncouth, though they do not mind ambition at becoming better in what one does. They expect others to seek to refine themselves, to be disciplined, and to demonstrate that everything is art, and they must give themselves to that pursuit to be worthy of respect, honor, and glory. Qivirans can be cold and hostile on the outside, but sweet and kind on the inside with the right people; they may be in the process of sorting out their feelings and response towards the people in their lives. They’re mean to you one day and somewhat caring the next.
And yet, they find beauty in all things. Enter a shop of any artisan, and you will errors and mistakes, failures and broken things, often lovingly cared for and proudly displayed, because to Qivirans, failure is as much a part of that effort as success, and they honor and embrace that.
